no I've never ridden one, but I've seen some bad ass videos of guys riding them and doing backflips and what not, and i have extensive experience on sitdowns... and to me id rather be dolphin diving or doing backflips then going fast

So far this beater has cost me $300 in parts, at 200k miles all the bushings and ball joints are toast. Still a fun project though.

 

Haha, yeah, the freestyle stuff on standups is pretty crazy. Those ones doing backflips are highly modified with like super light custom hulls, but you should definitely be able to learn to do some submarines on a stock ski.

 

I haven't given up. Car is still there and I will try again tomorrow.

Hoping that he will be annoyed at one point and sell it to me for my lowball offer

yeah I tend to like get really fixated on stuff and did like 3 hours of research and found the main company that builds the profesional quality jet skis, and its a company called blowsion/rickter... the stuff they make is crazy... 1000plus cc 2 stroke engines in a super lightweight fiberglass hull, they even make carbon hulls... i feel like if you rip the throttle on one of those bad boys the hull wil just shoot out from underneath you

 

those skis go for upwards of 20k.... i could buy a pos wakeboarding boat for a little bit more then that... so i couldnt justify financing something like that... if they even do finance them. some of the skis they make cost upwards of 35k XD (thats a TRDOR brand new third gen)

I'm actually thinking I might try to flip the civic once it's back together.It's got a junky D16 in it that I would really need to swap if I wanted to have any fun.

 

My buddy has a 3rd gen Mini, that thing is a lot of fun. Like a go kart for grown ups and street use!

 

Dude that sold me my truck worked at Cobb Tuning. Still got the license plate bracket on the front!
