yes true, But when selling or buying the used Heep most sellers/buyers/dealers will use the KBB value as the Rule to what its worth, any additional haggling has nothing to do with what the KBB value states

There is no agenda. I am on the GEN 3 owners forum.

I bought TWO Gen 3 trucks. Thus I am a gen 3 owner. I love my GEN 3.

    CR isn't fake news.

Oh, and just another source of reference for you. At least where I'm at people go 50/50 between edmunds and Kbb, at least if you go trade in at dealerships, they'll give you the lower value reputable web price.

your agenda by posting this thread is to get all people with 3rd GEN Trucks hot and bothered about the reliability of their vehicles, when in fact they the 3rd GEN is rated to have the best resale of mid sized trucks. its quite obvious this was your intentions.

If posting something that is RELEVANT to OUR truck's ownership is a problem for you, that is fine.

aint no problem, when in reality the 3rdGEN is rated best in Resale by the only source that matters KBB, that's all you need to know

This explains it for me. Keyword being USED. NEW Taco should be a good buy due to reliability and resale. USED Taco is a bad buy due to resale being so high, not necessarily due to reliability. If you can buy a new one for just about the same price as used, why would you buy used. It would be a bad deal. The better option would be to buy new.

Yea I wouldn't know to be honest, but here if you got to our Chevy dealership they use KBB but if you go to Mercedes they'll run you for edmunds.

I guess that explains why this guy was in a hurry to get rid of his Tacoma. And he did it with style.

I just know I wanted to see if I can get a buyout early on my lease to save some money for my wedding and this is the information I got. No matter, carry on.

then use the KBB site to find its value, get a copy of that, and bring it to the Dealer that's what they will base its value on, if you get more $ than the KBB report power to you

no dude you have an agenda that you are pushing and most of it is trying to make 3rd gen owners become hysterical of the quality of their truck and to be fearfull and not just enjoy the truck. maybe you get your jollies that way. no mater this thread will be locked soon and then you full filled your primary mission on this site, start non existant problems
