    I think they just wanted Fillpilla off of the books. So when it is all said and done, it just gives them a bit more room to work with as far as cap room and whatnot. I'm sure they are trying to figure out a way to keep Palat, Tyler Johnson, Druin etc through the expansion draft / free agency etc. That's my only guess.

    Guess I was wrong. Pens played well, and should have had a few in the beginning of the second.
    I think you are correct. Forgot they got rid of him in the trade as well.

    Damn another OT loss. TO can't seem to do anything in the shootout. We are something like 1 in 10 now going into the shootout. Frustrating. Still great to see these kids play meaningful hockey in March. Who the fuck would of called that in September lol. I thought they'd be 10 points out by this point, not 1 point out with a game in hand.
