Used 2016 Tacoma : WORST used car buy

The only real gripes I have, granted only 2100 miles, is the seat is too short to support my thighs, and, it lacks balls on the low end like all V6's. The grill is fugly too but that'll be gone eventually.

Oh, one more thing, lack of power driver seat and perhaps heated seats as well on a $37K vehicle in this day is a joke.

 

Agree with you about the grill. I got a TRD pro grill for 400 bucks off eBay.
Just don't know how to install it and I don't want to pay someone labor to put it on. I watched videos on how to change the grill but I am scared I am going to scratch the paint on the edges around the grill.

 

That's why I gave up on them a long long time ago. Inconsistency, flavor of the month type stuff.

IMO all the hype over a differential harmonic whine, holes that howl and plugged for 1 cent, and tranny fluid that was low caused all this hype. There have been no major issues, relax.
When I get 300K on this 3rd gen I will trade her in.

 

I went into oxford ford/toyota about a month ago to see what they would do for me for a trade in on my 16 tacoma that i bought from them towards a f150. the salesman said the best they could do was $28k...I wanted at least $33k. I said no way and pretty much walked out. he texted me the rest of the day...he got up to $31.5. I told him it wasn't going to happen. I'll try again when my payoff is lower.
