So, interesting thing I've come across.

The dealership I bought my truck from gave me a lifetime power train warranty (inb4 ) Well, I found out that 2 weeks ago, they had been bought up by another dealership. So, I wonder if the company chain will honor the warranty should I ever want to use it, or does the new dealership honor it, or am I SOL on a gimmick?

Legally, when a business buys another business, they buy assets AND liabilities... With that, I would assume they have to honor the warranty.

I am NOT a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn once.

 

I mean. It won't really apply for me since I'm sure I'll break something off roading and it won't be honored after that.
