That's correct. Each bar mounts to the rail system on two points per side. Take a close look at my second picture. I'm only missing a bolt on one of the bars because I'm waiting for an extra T Slot nut to come in.

They will mount with these: https://www.amazon.com/T-Slot-Finis...8434224&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=1018+3/8+t+slot and 3/8 x 1" bolts and washers.

I'm just down the road in concord so Livermore works great for local pickup. And it couldn't hurt to try and make some Tacoma friends out in the wild, I'm new here ain't got none yet. Does he also sell those mounting platforms what go inbetween said bars for fuel/water/whatever jugs? I see a couple in your picture.

Cool. Once we get about 5 people interested, I'll start the actual GB thread.

Dope. If you don't mind me asking what did the mounting plates cost you? Or rather, since I'm new to this what's an average price for the mounting plates between bars?

Just got word from Tim on pricing.

$65 per bar bar unfinished. He can finish them with bedliner or any other rattle can for an extra few bucks.

$20 for any pair of custom tabs.

The RotopaX plates? They are around 50-60 on various sites. If you keep an eye on Amazon, sometimes they are 30. That's where I got both of mine.

Could we talk pro's/cons of two bars versus three for FNG SR510? Don't plan on mounting a tent just looking for somewhere to put a cargo carrier/bed rack and mount some fuel/water/tools.

Ben, I just realized you're a 3rd Gen. Tim doesn't currently have a jig for a 3rd Gen bed. I'm not sure if they are the same width.

Not a deal breaker. If you swing by Tim's shop he can measure your truck

I'm interested but not decided. I live in Livermore and have a 3rd gen if they need to check any measurements.

No problem. This is just a feeler thread so no commitments yet.
