    That's the problem :annoyed:
I'm thinking just a 2in leveling kit but unsure if that would clear 285/75 bfg all terrains

Hell I just dropped 1k on BFG all terrains, never mind that and a lift. I'd save up and do it right.

Does fine around town (as well as it can with all the shit I have on the truck). Just filled up and cleaned the air filter because this damn pollen is on another level.

The rough country 3in suspension lift is $250 itself. My buddy works at a tire place and said he could get me all terrains for 225 each after tax and all. I'm not sure how great that 3 inch suspension lift would look though

Personally I would get some 265 75 16s and do a the 5100s set at .85. That keeps most of your travel and at the end of the day will preform quite well. You could also do 2016 OR take offs that should net about an inch up front of lift with no loss of travel.

Tires are only street tires with only about 20-25K on them

Spacer lifts are good for paper weights. They suck, that three inch spacer kills 3 inches of travel in your suspension. If you only plan on being on the street it might work but you will hate it the seccond your off paved roads.

Ahh your talking about 16" wheels. Don't do a spacer lift (i had one before my current lift and hated it.)

How much would the 5100s run? After reading the replies, I may just set that money on the back burner and save a little while longer.

Hit up @Daria for pricing on some front Bilsteins. Do that and some blocks in the back until you want to upgrade your rear leaf springs. The type of lift really depends on what your goal for the truck is. Do you plan on wheeling it at all? Do you tow / haul anything? Mostly road driving or mixed paved / unpaved?

I've got a sea ray 185 wake board boat that I haul and a little jon boat but that's nothing. Mainly paved roads unless it's hunting season, then a lot of dirt roads and wooded trails.

I think 5100s are about $250 for the shock then the time/labor to swap the springs and top hats.

In regards to the wheeling with the truck, id say that would be rare just because of time and money issues. The look I'm really going for is something along the lines of this

I would recommend at least either a 3 leaf add a leaf or OME Dakar springs for the rear. Bilsteins are a good choice front and rear and are relatively cheap. There's a local TW member in Charleston that can do the install and another that has good pricing on the shocks themselves.

Also keep in mind that once you get to the 2.5-3" front lift range you may need some new UCA's to get reasonable alignment numbers.

Awesome I appreciate the input. I'm going to have to look into this and see what I'll have to save up. (Any links or recommendations on parts are appreciated)!! Appreciate it again!:hattip:

Headstong offroad and wheelers offroad seem to be well liked. Also jump on the south east yard sale thread might see something pop up on there.
