I really need a yes or no answer guys. I am very new to the lifting game and about to pull my hair out. I was running 265/75R16 on my stock suspension. I put a 3'' lift on it a couple weeks ago and the tires look a little small and narrow. I think I will run the 265s until they are gone and then try a set of 285/75R16. Right now I'm ready to get a set of SCS F5 wheels but know nothing about offset or backspace. SCS sent me a quote with 3.5 BS with no mention of any offset. My question is, will I have any rubbing issues running this wheel with either tire combo?

If you have the BS you can calculate offset, they are not independent of one another. They are just measurements from different reference points.

Yes you will rub... but nothing a little trimming won't cure. SCS wheels have a more aggressive offset (they stick out more) then stock. You should be fine but every truck is different.

Since they quoted the 3.5 bs, I guess it would be -25 offset

Like said above you will rub with 285s just depends where, you'll have to remove mud flaps likely, maybe trim fender inner, some have to do cab mount chop. At 3.5BS on an 8" rim that equals -25mm offset FYI.

I had to trim about an inch from the bottom inner edge of the fender, right where the inner liner meets. You can't tell.

Requires welding in a plate to finish the look. I did not need this, do you wheel?

You're trimming will be minimal. I only rubbed in reverse near full lock.

If you want to go to 33s with no rubbing, then 255/80s would be an option. Tall skinnies kinda a military look. Plenty of threads on here with pics.

You won't have any issues if you use a spacer and the search feature on this site.
