It would be a good idea to wait for an ambulance instead of driving a minor to the hospital without guardian consent, no matter how fast you can get there.

 

You're right... Probably woulda called his mom before the ambulance though... I mean I didn't get a cell phone until 9th grade. Now all kids have them...

True, if mom or dad felt inclined you could be charged with kidnapping.

 

That's why nobody wants to help anybody anymore, they're afraid of being charged with something or sued...

Dad people throw trash everywhere expecting others to clean it up. People throwing garbage out the window is a pet peeve and I make my opinion known. I have actually thrown their garbage back in their car on occasion.

Jerk schmerk. I'd do the same and if it wasn't taken care of then it would be insurance (theirs) and/or small claims court for it.

 

First, if a kid hits your truck call the police and go from there, but your dam right parents should be held accountable for their kids. But, if the people of this town are so stupid, what makes you think the kids parents are any smarter?

Exactly..if I had done that as a kid I'd have been accountable, no police needed..because I knew if I didn't stop and find the owner and make good my dad would have killed me, among other things.

 

Have taught my kids that there really isn't such a thing as an accident. If you put yourself in a situation where something can happen, is it really an accident.

 

Mostly true, though stuff happens occasionally. That said, accident even does not excuse one of ownership and making right
