Installed and somewhat satified. I little loud for my taste, but nice growl and not raspy honda sound. Does it have to break in period? Will it get louder? Don't feel any performance gain.

I agree, but maybe its my tranny that makes it wierd. I'm not sure if anyone else is having this problem or even if its a problem. So when i take off it sounds fine until the tranny shift to 2nd and it jerks a little and when i'm driving seem to searching for gears alot so the exhaust note sounds weird. Basicly the tranny isn't shifting smoothly like other automatic tranny i've driven. Again i don't know if its normal or not.

Maybe you should get the transmission TSB done. I dont hear any issues with mine when the truck shifts.

I lucked out on mine when I found it on craigslist for $200. Luckily it was for a long bed too!

Haven't really noticed with mine that I can say for sure. Although sometimes it does shift wierd but I attribute it to mods/larger tires

I had a Banks monster for a few months, great sound but just a bit too loud for me. Gettin too old I guess.
Picked up a used TRD and it is perfect.
Quiet at normal part throttle driving and speaks up when it is wide open.
I like the TRD unit combined with the TRD intake it has a nice mix at higher RPMs and wide open throttle!!

Does the TRD exhaust have the same bends as the stock?

I've been thinking about getting this for my 2011, as I have absolutely no patience, and its the only performance accessory currently available for the 2011s...

Should I just sve the 500 bah to put in my SC fund?

I can buy a trd exhaust for 200 bucks anyone know if anyone has tried one on a 4 cylinder, it's made for a double cab so it will take some modifying to get it to fit my access cab just wondering if it will fit and i want to get it as a project aswell as a better sound.

Should fit an acess cab no problem. Not sure how it will perform with a 4 cylinder though.
