Reasonable Price for Used Leer Bed Cap

Hey all,
Just wanted to get some opinions from fellow truck owners. I have a '15 Tacoma that i bought certified used and it came with a Leer bed cap (I think it's the 100R model). 6ft bed and navy blue color. I'm looking to sell it and downgrade to a tonneau because I don't need all that space. I just wanted to get some feed back from all of you about what you think a reasonable asking price is. I was thinking around (1000-1200 based on the fact that when new, it is probably around $1700)

As far as its condition, it looks great other than a couple tiny spots on the bottom ridge of the cap. I took it off and put it in storage for a couple of weeks on top of two by fours and then put it back on. Unfortunately, where the paint contacted the wood planks, a tiny bit of paint chipped off. Nothing a little touch up paint can't fix, but I'm not sure how much that effects the value.

I paid $900 last year for a used snug top with sliding side windows like yours. It also had sliding front window, interior LED light, and Thule cross bars. It was pretty scratched up, but no dents. Was probably 5-8 years old when I bought it.

 

I paid $450 for my high rise LEER that's in excellent condition. Not what you want to hear, but there it is.

 

just paid $400 for a leer 100r painted my color in excellent condition. just a heads up.

 

About $1100 in my area for one with the nice, seamless SUV style side windows and backglass, shaved rear hardware, and carpet liner (either ARE or Leer). Probably around $700-$900 for the one you have pictured.

 

I asked 1000 on CL and got one call from a guy asking if I would take 600. mine is like new with only 4k on the truck. It is all wired up with lighting. I just decided to keep it. I will use the space and I just put a roof rack on it , I just used it to haul some 2x4 home and it worked out better than putting them in the bed.

 

$500-$600 Canadian for that model, they are 2k new.

 

Paid 850 for a 1 year old leer xl removable window and it only had 1 chip that was tiny half of a pencil eraser if that.

 

For anyone who's curious, just giving an update: Sold the cap today for $750 + a used pair of 6" raptor side steps
