People on this forum are so funny. Just trolling the classifieds for "infractions" and pointing them out hoping to be recognized for their hard work, and given a mod tag.

They should stick to trolling Grindr. Someone will recognize their hard work and give them much more than a mod tag.

Not related to your sale: but I think those are pre-loaded WAY over the limit. I don't recall seeing that much threaded body showing in any pictures here.....

Also, have a specific part number for the C/O's? Fox lists two versions:
880-02-361 for 0-2" of lift (standard travel)
883-02-025 for 0-3" of lift (extended travel)

Your ad in the BST says "standard length not long travel". If they are they are standard travel, then they aren't rated for 3" of lift. You might be confused on terminology with regards to shocks: standard travel - extended travel - long travel. Long travel C/O's would be custom-spec, not off the shelf kit units.

    Just trying to help....

Yeah I'm aware of all that. Thanks for the offer. I'm probably just going to take it in when I do this. I'm also considering an ARB since I already have a compressor hooked up.

I hate the idea of the compressor or airline failing and preventing me from locking the rear. Or getting me stuck in between positions.
Everyone speaks so highly of the ARB but I'm on the fence about it, even if money wasn't an object.

No you are right. These are extended travel. I am pretty sure standard travel the top hat is the other way around and mid travel you need UCAs which i had to get. Ill update it

This thread is really making me laugh.

That could be the name of an amusement park. For wannabe mods and railroad management.

I was wondering... I went to read it and couldn't find anything. The only thing I'm here for is the local group. The rest of this forum can go pound sand.

The rules do say that parts for sale are NOT to be installed on the truck at the time of posting. I think where you are running afoul of the rules is that you want to sell your current C/O's to fund the purchase from Craigslist, install those THEN ship the Fox's. That's the situation that the rules are trying to prevent. They don't want people playing shell games with funds, people have been burned for that before, which is why the rules exist as they do.

Let's say somebody bought your Fox's today and Paypal'd you the money. When would you ship them? You'd have to run down to Sumner and grab the Camburg's (if they're still available), then do the swap. Let's say you could do that this weekend, and have the C/O's ready to ship on Monday. That's the best case scenario. Worst case scenario, you've been paid for the Fox's, but the Camburg's are no longer available. What then? Welch on selling the Fox's, since it's your daily driver? On another forum I'm active on, welching on a deal gets you banned from the site (ar15.com)

My advice? Just go buy the Camburg's off CL, install them and then relist your Fox's, all nice and shiny and ready to ship. Sure, you'll have to float the funds for a few days, maybe a week or two, but the Fox's should sell.

Hell, If I didn't want to drop $2,000 on my suspension right now, I'd consider picking them up. But I don't want to spend $700 on Total Chaos UCA's to replace my LR UCA's and another $500-$700 on Fox rear shocks (I like things to match too.:p) I could make some of that back by selling my OME fronts and LR UCA's, but I'd really rather just buy a new (bigger) truck in a few months......
