Has anyone had any issues while turning full lock and hear clunking noise like something is gonna break specially on uneven surface? Its not the tires or wheels hitting i have plenty of clearance

Im running a leveling kit, 17x9 DC wheels and 275/70/17 k02s

See i asked at the dealership and they told me it was normal o_O he did mention the turn stops that it was hitting...this is my first truck that I've owned so not sure if he was telling the truth. It sounds pretty bad specially when its uneven surface like i mentioned.

Re-torque everything you touched with you put in the level kit. just a slightly under tightened nut or bolt can make a huge clunk.

Very nice looking truck! Hope you figure out that clunk. I'm surprised that 275/65/17's aren't rubbing, though. How much clearance do you have? Clunking noises aren't normal. That dealer is full of it.

Leveling kit was installed by the dealership. They re torqued everything. Still makes the noise. Ive had the truck for a year and 2 months.

    Clunking is never "normal." Period.

Make sure your shocks aren't leaking/blown. Although if this only happens under lock, it's not likely to be the shocks.

Its only during full lock turns. Thing is when i go to the dealership and show them what im talking about the truck works fine even when turning full lock smh....so they can not "replicate" the problem -_-

Do you see any evidence of rub marks anywhere?

Thank you. I have a good amount of clearance. They are 275/70s btw my mistake lol. Offset on wheels is like -20 i belive so it pushes out the tire sonit doesn't rub...not running any spacers either.

Are the wheels properly seated on the hubs and lug nuts tightened?

If the wheels rub on the UCAs, that needs to be fixed (yes, it's a fairly frequent problem). But it's probably not the source of the clunking.

Wheels or tires do not rub at all not even close. There are no signs of rubbing on either wheels or tires

I misread your post. Thought you said wheels were hitting UCAs.

UCAs hitting the springs is an interesting one. Got any photos?

UCAs are vehicle-side-specific. Are you sure they were installed correctly/on the correct sides?

Hmmm that could be a possible issue putting them on the oposite sides. Damn got me thinking now. That would be some shit if they were installed wrong lmao! I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Do you know the specs of your leveling kit? They did not lift the rear at all? How high are you in the front -- Level from stock would be about 1 or 1.5" lift in front only but you look to be sitting higher than that. Wonder if it's an issue attributed to being 2" or more in lift
