yup, took it apart on the trail over the weekend... figuring that the 4 long screws would at least let me access a common size battery that I could switch out. NOPE!

I took a picture of the battery, but since it had "27A battery" written right on the face, I for some strange reason figured it would be correct. haha

Sorry to hear that some of you experienced such huge loss. I ask because I am closing on a house there in a couple of days. It's an investment property. I have professionals telling me that I scored and others telling me that the market there is cold. I think it is cold because almost no one there is selling their house! Of course the market will be cold if there is almost zero inventory! 5.5 acres... 2900sq ft two story building and 3 bedroom ranch with walk out basement. Also...this is half of the view from the back deck! Place is insane!view.jpg

The farther East you go, the bigger the view gets.

    I was being facetious, lol.
I'm not sure where that is in the Springs. Near FoCo, East of the interstate prices drop and the views get bigger. The tornado's get bigger too.
West has less view, cause mtn in the way, and there is the increased risk of fire.
There is no good place to live here, I suggest Wyoming, they have lots of room, fewer restrictions. ;)

You scored. Everything around Castle Rock and Monument is blowing up. People are moving north out of the Springs to Black Forest/Woodmor/Monument, and people are moving south from south metro Denver. Another five to ten years and you'll be sitting on a gold mine. Watch those property values explode in the meantime.

All I did was google it, it appears the slits are simply overlapping material to allow the airbag to spill out. I doubt you'll even notice it.

...in all seriousness I could live in quite a few different places in WY. Just draw a line from Sheridan to Casper to Green River and exclude everything east and south of said line. Trimming the fat, if you will.

as an after thought, to cover my ass, i don't have a 2nd gen. I have no idea if the seats change their bulk size with air bags. They might fit loose. I suppose a seamstress could use the slits to an advantage and tighten up the fit if needed. I would still go for it if it were me. Cause the damn things are $500 for a new set.

Roger. That's my idea, they're cheap enough I could still fuck around with them to get them to fit and come out under most used sets.

Do you have side air bags and you are trying to fit covers without the relief?

I do not have side airbags but wanted to see if anyone knew if the covers would still fit decently.
