Yeah, something is off. Did you leave all the leafs in on the Dakars? Did you buy them new?

Bought them new from Headstrong and did not replace anything on them. Just pulled off the old ones and inserted these. Does the front have to settle or is that only with new springs?

There is no settling with spindles since you are sitting on cast. Maybe you accidentally bought the 6" MaxTrac lift? Just going by your mesurements it would seem you are 2.5-3" in the back and close to 6" in the front.

You may be on to something. Maybe we can get a closer look as his front wheel well?

What do you mean upside down? Both ends aren't the same...

It has to do with the way the spring perch is seated.

Take pics of the shocks and coil assembled

What are you running in the rear to level out the 4 inch lift in front?

Has anyone bought Maxtrac spindles from walmart? Looking into this. Has the correct part number and I might go for it.

Okay so I found what the issue was.......

The spring seat was on upside down. Therefore the springs were compressed as if the struts were set on the top notch. Saturday went back to LJ's and we compressed the springs, took them out, flipped the spring seats out and flipped them the other way, and assembled. NOW the truck looks more leveled to the back. Before they kept telling me that I needed a block in the rear or AAL to bring it up some and now we know why.

I haven't taken any pics yet but I will do that sometime today. The truck looks a lot more even all the way around now.

I know lol at first I wasn't too worried about it till we started talking about it on here so I sent Marie a PM and she replied after we figured it out. She said that usually happens a lot with customers and that's one of the things they mention to them is to check that the spring seat is on correctly cuz it will make a big difference.
