@TacoMaxxxx Well I don't see any rub marks on the cab yet it's mainly on the corner of my fender well/bumper. I also rub when I come off a driveway too quick and turning left or right. I'd still like to go up to a 6.5 though, the 4" now feels like I'm at stock height lol here's a pic of what's rubbing up front, it's that tab where the screw is supposed to be.

I was apprehensive about going the full 4"

But now that I did, (and got an extra inch from 2016 TRD OR shocks and coils)

    I WANT MORE LIFT ALSO!

Would you rather go through the trouble of lifting the front and back and all that comes with it or take a dremel to that spot? Do you like the way a 6" lift looks better than a 4"?

I'm doing it man. Already got parts coming in Monday and then ordering that spacer today so by mid next week I should be up and up!
I thought of just adjusting the struts but that would compress the coils too much and ride just like a spacer would.

I've always wanted a 6" lift. Lifting won't be an issue or a lot of time wasted. The hard part (spindle install) is over. It won't take but 2 hrs at the max and get it done for a case of beer.

The 4" was good for me at first and with my original wheel setup. Now that I have my new setup, the 4" isn't clearing well and isn't the look I want. Going up 2 more inches is good with me and will be exactly what I am looking for. I still plan on taking a dremel to it and knocking that piece off. Also heating up the plastic on the well and pushing it in some more.

It's still gonna ride a little rougher but not by much. I had the 2" spacer before and it felt like stock ride honestly.

I think you have your answer! Either way, 6" is what you want so that's what you need to do. What are you thinking for the rear? Blocks?

Yes sir I do! All I'll need to do after is get some shims I'm sure lol
And yes just blocks for the rear. I was told and thought to do the AAL to the leaf pack but the ride will be the same AAL or block so I'm going the easy way on this one and to save some time instead of having to take apart the whole thing. I will be happy with the outcome though :)

Yea I wanted the 6.5 but was too much with my old setup so the 4" with the OME Dakar pack did the trick with billys all around. Then went bigger on tires/wheels and now need bigger. So adding 2" blocks for the rear and 2.5 strut spacer. I have the extended shocks and with Marie's knowledge, they'll work with that pack and the blocks.

had you know you would end up going the 6.5/4 lift would u have just done the 4" blocks im debating weather i want to go with a 2"aal and a 2" block or just do the 4" block for fear the aal will settle or not get me high enough my biggest fear is the bro lean i hate the look of it nose high so i want to make sure ill get enough lift in the rear

I probably would have done the same I'm doing now. The dakars and like a 2" block because the Dakars give between 2-3in of lift already so a 2" block will give 4-5. I wouldn't do that big a block.

Well if your worried about the lean then do like a 3" block and the AAL that way if it doesn't settle then you'll have like a 5" in the rear and if it does you'll be around 4ish. BUT...if money isn't an issue then just go with Dakars pack and a 2" block like me. Keep somewhat of a good ride.

I'll post some pics of the 4" now and then the 6.5" with the rear blocks added after so you can see the difference. It'll be done next week.

I saw jerrid chambers video on YouTube about this lift and he said it cut his gas mileage significantly. Has anyone else had this problem?

Pretty much any lift is going to cut MPG's.

    Just IMO.

I thought it would cut some mileage. But he was saying he went from a 22 mpg average to a 13 or 15 average. This just seems like a lot to me
