Austin Area TW Chapter (all gens welcome, even T4Rs; heck, just make it a Toyota and we're good)

I wanted to get something that's really classis that I'll be able to like pass down to my kids for the first gun I purchased... Anddddd I need a new deer rifle, so I was looking at a Henry Lever Action Chambered in 30-30, Already have Leupold VX-3 to put on it, plans may change if I find some cool shit in the gun shop though.

 

What day is the San Antonio C&C and are we still going to go as a group?

Hey do you guys have anything going on like a meetup etc Mar 10 -19? I'm a Canadian going to be in Austin for a week and it would be great to see some Texas Tacomas and meet some great US neighbours.

 

My boy ask me at least once a week if we are going to go, so I need to know so I can ask for that Saturday off.

 

I'm sure we could put together a meet at one of ATX's most popular places... (Gordough's, Hop Doddy, Homeslice, etc.)

 

@oldtoyotaguy what part of austin will you be staying in?

 

I have to double check because I don't know Austin that well although I've been there a couple of time for short visits. Basically the hill country, but I'll have a vehicle so I'm mobile and can figure it out. Haha I won't have my Tacoma though - too long a drive

 

March 12 there will be a cars & coffee event at The Oasis restaurant at 6550 Comanche Trail, Austin, TX 78732 starting around 8am. A few of the guys that frequent this thread bring their tacos and also cook tacos. You should check it out!

 

That's the weekend of C&C I believe.
Should be a good turnout of tacos and good breakfast tacos.

if your in the "hill country" your most likely probably out @Texoma and I's way, so like northwest austin... if you can call it that its a good 40 minute drive to downtown and all that. Definitely worth it though, I live in a vacation destination.
