My brother...... *please read*

    Yesterday, my oldest brother jason, 1st lieutenant in the US Army was in Afghanistan outside of his FOB in a M WRAP and they exited the vehicle to set up mortar rounds when an RPG shot at them struck the mortar rounds and blew up. His best friend was a foot away from him and a couple away from the mortars and he died instantly. My brother was the next worst with his legs shattered, schrapnel everywhere, schrapnel through his nose into his throat and also schrapnel sliced through his forearms.... The doctor said he is incredibly lucky with his injuries and blood loss to be alive. We spoke to him this morning, and he was way more upset he couldnt help his 4 soldiers who were laying on the ground lifeless... only 1 dead, 5 injured, and hes the worst. He's been through 2 surgerys, but is still in critical condition. I would appreciate it if you could pray for him, and any other one of our heros who are risking their lives every single day. Thank you very much.

    Does your brother know where he'll be evac'd to in the states yet? Tell him to worry only about himself right now...he can't help anyone else until he is well. Tell him an old Army guy said he understands the pain and hurt he's feeling for his men right now but until he is well there is nothing he can do for us. The true leaders are the ones hardest to convince of their need. Prayers to you and your family for a complete recovery. Prayers to all of his men and their family as well.
