Okay, cool, 10/3 is perfect. Sometimes the run is on the other side of the house and in those instances I would want to run separate conductors in conduit for something that pulls current like a compressor or welder. You should have asked TW who on here can run a circuit like that. :luvya:

Yeah but was easier to just have them do it during the build lol. I'll have TW come wire in a hot tub later in the year lol

I wired up my hottub with the help of a neighbor. Not very hard to do.

I've never been scared by getting hit with electricity. I've been zapped by 110 and 240 already. 110 is nothing, but 240 fucking HURTS.

I'm always scared of it catching fire, but if you follow code and take your time there isn't much to worry about.

I work at a college, it's about as anti-2A as you can get. Remarkably annoying.

    I'm your huckleberry! #ranchlovematters

In that case, makes perfect sense. Let me know, easy work.

Yep, not hard, just be smart and use the right materials and tools.

If you don't understand its principles and how it works along with safely routing it, it can be mystical and scary.

Try 277/480, way more fun. I worked at a 365Main Data Center in Chandler on ATS switching modules and main ATS for their 16cyl Diesel Gen, that was fucking scary. 13KV exiting the building to sell to the grid between power loss. Let's just say I didn't wear anything with fabric softener and stuffed toilet paper into my pants to catch the shit should something go south.

If #10 wire is used, no matter how short, the MAX draw is 30A. #8 is for 50A and #6 is for 75A before calculating for voltage drop. At 6', there is no drop to measure, but don't under size because of simplicity. Plan ahead and size correctly. Please
