Pro comp,3" lift. Started small to get it up in the air. Will likely switch to icon or kings in the future. Budget lift. Still looks good and rides great.

Got pretty much all the pieces together to do the ABS kill switch mod... Have many people done this without getting a t-splice connector and just done it with solder...?

That's how I did it. I used a razor blade to cut away about an inch of insulation without cutting the wire, then soldered in a tee-wire that grounds via the switch. I got a push-button switch from aironboard.com and put it into one of the two center switch blanks.

    http://www.aironboard.com/online/pu...toyota-oem-replacement-abs-off-led-green.html

I just wired it to ground the locker - no relay to make the switch lights work. It's painted similar to the other non-lighted factory switches, and since you get multiple dash lights when it's on I didn't see the need for the switch to light up too.

I also added dual USB power ports while everything was apart. Came out good and works like a charm.

I have a USB port as well but no Add-A-Fuse so I'll have to wait on that mod.
Probably going to mount a little round rocker switch down and out of the way for now. Don't care how it looks, just that it works!

Thanks for the help, by the way

Re floated solder for temp/compass display. Painted shifter trim satin black, would like to switch out centre stack for newer black version as I don't like the silver.

Single piece driveshaft. Tom Woods Custom Driveshafts. Double cardan cv up front single rear. 3.5" tube with 1310 universal flanges to adapt to Toyota T4 flange. Carrier bearing is like $230 plus install, or your time. Less than $500 out the door with shipping. 1310s can be found anywhere. Fully greaseable. I figure in another year I would end up destroying another CB anyway, so $500 ain't bad...and...no more vibes!!!! Did need 3 degree axle shims, but I am a happy camper/wheeler.
