I am not sure Florida is even top 5. Michigan still wins the crappiest award around for highest insurance rates thanks to no fault coverage and unlimited lifetime medical protection. Our average auto annual cost is about $500 a year higher than any other state, so we typically have a high rate of non-insured and under-insured drivers too. Michigan does not win much, but we have this one in the bag.

I also just ordered the Redline hood struts thanks to seeing the GB info a few pages back.

I'm relatively sure the 3rd gens have a higher bedside. Technically they'll fit on there but it won't look right/may not seal completely.

I know there is a smaller thread on sunroof leaking topic but I finally figured out how to show video - ended up posting on youtube and link is below. Toyota basically NOT going to do anything. They blame pressure from car wash. Funny how my 2002 and 2010 Toyota do just fine going thru same car wash. Oddly enough a '17 Tacoma came in a day after me at dealer and complained of same issue! The more people are aware of this and complain to Toyota maybe they will actually try to improve on future designs at least.

So there's 2 trans temps available. I'm assuming the warmer is the at the torque converter? This would be sweet for monitoring whether or not the torque converter is locked. If somebody has the answer or potentially bothered to read the instruction book let me know!

    Details:
    • URD Y-Pipe (removes rear cats)
    • 2.5" (4" long) Vibrant Turbo Lined Flex Coupling (welded in where last peice of y-pipe connects together)
    • Vibrant 2" long (2.5" -> 3") reducer/enlarger
    • Vibrant 3" V-band (y-pipe flange cut off)
    • Vibrant 12" long bottle style resonator
    • Magnaflow 18" Muffler (#14249)
    • Magnaflow 4" Black Tip
    Initial thoughts:
Fucking aggressive sounding. I'm glad I went with the resonator. If I hadn't, probably would be to loud. Resonator got rid of the pops and farts and some drone (have got up to freeway speeds yet). I really like the sound, especially at cold start. Think I'll stay with it a while, and if it gets to loud, I might replace with the Ultra Quite resonator... originally was going that way, but then I got scared thinking it might be to quite, so went with the bottle/performance style instead.

The URD Y-pipe did take some customization to get just right; don't think anybody has just slapped it together yet and been good to go.
But after a litter cutting here and a slight bend there, got it all worked out... Wasn't to worried about messing with it, as I had already chopped the flange on the end off and TIG welded a reducer/enlarger and v-band in it's place eariler this week. Was able to get the y-pipe up and tucked away in front of the cross member. In my opinion it does sit higher than the stock y-pipe that goes under the transfer case, if even just a inch or two. Like I said no one yet has just bolted it together and been good to go.... Takes some TLC and a torch!!!

Can't say I've felt any improvement gains one way or the other... Other than my foot being heavier than usual, just to hear it, but I did just get it on. Going to spray paint the rear exhaust tube black, by the tip, with some high temp paint, so everything looks nice and neat.

Will get some videos put together of the sound as soon as I can tonight. Just got home, and wanted to get pics up ASAP.

All in all I'm very satisfied with the way it turned out...

Fun little tail light add on. Looks much better in person vs photo.

Just a stick on so if I don't like it later, it pops off.

Easy! To get engine detailed information like displayed below, just honk your horn 5 short beeps, start your truck, then two more beeps. :)

    Then look in mirror.

To dissabel the seat belt chime on my 2009 subaru you would turn the ignition to the on position then rapid fire the seat beltt in and out of the buckle about a 100 times in a minute the turn the ignition off. When you turned it back on again the chime was dissabled. Crazy but it worked

On my Tacoma if you depress the brake pedal, say the alphabet backwards, then start the truck it shows you the outside temperature on the dash cluster.
