Thanks for stepping up guys, turns out his truck is a 5 lug. I hadn't seen it in person yet and he kept saying it was a Prerunner(he thought all 2WD's were Pre's). Ugh, anyway, thanks again.

 

Depending on the cost for a shop to do it, if ya change your mind just let me know and we can knock it out in a day.

The arb is a nice option. Every system has its cons and like you mentioned airline and compressor are the big two. The compressor part could be (at least partially) mitigated with an air tank. Just use check valves so it can't leak out if you get a leak anywhere. Depending on the size of the tank you can get a few cycles out of it. Plus if you have a way to add air, anyone with another compressor could fill your tank. As for the airline, they offer a much better "heavy duty" hose which is worth the upgrade. Even better would be a custom steel braided line but you are looking at $$$ for one. But really I wouldn't worry to much about lines as lots of serious off road guys use the arb setups.

 

From my understanding the heavy duty kit is only like 4' of hose that then is connected back to the standard blue line. To me less fittings the better.

Does anyone know if the manatash ridge road trail is open at this year around? Would like to take a buddy up there with his new 4runner.

 

There is snow up there until late spring

Basically when the snow melts. The USFS lists June 15th as the opening date, but can change due to conditions.

Sweet thanks for the info man. Do you know any other trails that are open currently. Somewhere that doesn't create pin strips lol. I don't think my buddy want any scratches on his new car yet. Was planning to take him to tahuya and try to avoid all of the narrow trails over there.

 

Manastash is closed. the only open area around there is the LT Murray/Wenas and there is no pin stripping out there.

 

Just broken diffs and pinched fingers....

Curious why you want to replace current Light Racing UCA's for the Total chaos? If you didnt have either is it really worth the extra 200-300 for TC UCAs (going uniball instead of joint ball)? Some say yes some say no. I'm going to buy LR UCAs next week. Thanks. What do you currently have on the rear to switch for Fox's?
For someone else on here, I plan to take off my stock '15 OR suspension in a couple of weeks (32k miles on them). Someone still looking? Still on the truck haha so not in for selling on site yet
Does anyone have front coilover reservior mounts/bracket by chance to sell? Or generally just use smaller or cheaper fasteners? Thx!
