Anytime my windows are down on my double cab the passenger seatbelt smacks the b pillar.

On the access cab there is a black rubber square on the rear door positioned to prevent this.

Neither my parts guy or myself could find it to order it. Any help/suggestions? I don't want to use a piece of 3m felt pad.

Thats basically what I use on my 2nd gen. Double sided foam tape, I left the black plastic stuck on the visible side. Cant see it when nobody is sitting there. And when they are sitting there I cant see through them anyway. Shitty solution but haven't seen anything else. Only took about .5" x 1"

Just untwist it and let it dangle naturally. It's only when it's twisted and the chrome buckle is touching the b-pillar, will it rattle.

Doesnt work. The backside of the male connector that is contacting in my situation.

I usually just buckle it. Sometimes that's not possible with a passenger because supposedly "you don't need a seatbelt under 60mph."

Wind may cause unbuckled seat to flap..yes, even without a passenger sitting there.

Be glad you don't own an Access Cab, where the rear belts also smack against the C-pillars...

Strange, might have to get some of that famous felt tape that all the 3rd gen taco owners are buying for the speaker grill to A pillar rattle issues, and cut a small square to isolate the contact area like the German cars do.

The fuzzy side of Velcro works too as some members have used in place of adhesive backed felt.

Velcro backing might work. Was kind of hoping for that factory rubber piece but Ill resort to this or cutting a piece of my doorstep and superglue.

I would use those command steps and a magnet (if it will attract?)

You know you can adjust the height of the buckle on the piller.

I had the same problem with the passenger buckle smacking against the piller. I lowered the adjustible buckle thing all the way down.

And now with the windows down on the hwy, my passenger buckle no longer smacks against the piller. Problem solved for free.

I figured this out the other day. You can try this and see if it helps.

Anybody else have problems with the rear seatbelts hitting the C-pillar when the windows are open in the doublecab?

And yes, I have them in their little clips. Doesn't do much. Still have to hear them flapping about.
