Have a question for you, I got the blue t4 blubs for my hvac controls but they don't light up really well, it's there anything else in our truck that will use the t4 blubs?

I have designs for both the FJ (2 knob and dial) and a dial design for the Tundra. Never made any as I wasn't sure how well they would sell given how much they would probably cost to make. I'd consider making them of billet aluminum for the Tacoma if there is interest.

Got mine in the mail yesterday less than 2 weeks delivery from China! Overall very happy with these- just a little free play that other have experienced. 2nd coat of paint will go on this morning but it already looks better than the color of the stock knobs. Will post pics after install with good lighting.

Ok got them on and I'd say it's close but maybe a little too red mixed in. It matches the backlight directly above it (lo, hi, temp) but the dash lights are more orange. I'm super picky and tend to strive for perfection. Should I start over- what do you guys think???IMG_2264.jpgIMG_2263.jpg

I got mine a few days ago they got here pretty quickly, mine seemed to fit relatively snug. I love the new look, I wonder if they have noticed they are selling more of these lately

Yeah I agree it's definitely more on the red side but it's pretty much the same as the surrounding backlit areas. The big difference is with the color of the dash (spedo) area. Hey OP did yours end up looking the same to you? The pictures are a little misleading on the actual color.

You're the man! Thanks for such an awesome idea and for sharing your techinque. Initially a touch too red although it matched pretty good I gave the edge of the ring a light wipe with a fine sponge a it cut down the red ever so little but noticeable to me. Killer match now! Amazing how something so simple can do so much for the look of a truck! Thanks againIMG_2266.jpg
