Ok, ok... big deal. Hit 2k today. They grow up so fast!

Also met with a feller about upgrading the sound up in there. We're going to go in waves. First we're replacing all the baseline factory speakers with JBLs: ordered tonight. While he's doing that, he's checking to see if an under seat sub will fit (fingers crossed!) if it does, we'll install that during stage 2. Then possibly (probably) an amp under the other seat after that during stage 3. Also, while he has the rig, I'm getting the tint upgraded to 20%, the 35% just isn't cutting it for me.

He also has hook ups for anything else I could want in future. LEDs, lifts, bumpers... the dude is awesome. He charges his cost for parts and profits off the labor. I'm quite impressed! If anyone in the Portland area needs a hook up, hit up Kenny at Unique Sounds, LLC. Dude's awesome.

I think I just made a friend. :yay:

Your owners manual covers what can be customized by the dealer. Both turn signal and seat belt chimes are options controlled by the dealer.

Pulled my Tacoma badges off to paint them black. No more Plastidip for this fella. Started thinking about my Pop n lock install from a while back and how I ran the wire from the tailgate through the black plastic clips and how it had to be pinched. So I cut the short harness and pulled it back out and then drilled a hole in it with a 3/8 bit. Did the same with the other one and then ran it back through, soldered the wires then put heat shrink on. The guy on YouTube says there's "just enough room" to run it through the right side but the wire gets pinched that way.

IMG_6655.jpg IMG_6656.jpg IMG_6657.jpg Installed bed lights. Tapped the master switch to a "hot" fuse so it can be turned on when the truck is off. Added a ground pin switch so that when the tailgate opens the lights turn on and when closed will turn off. Here are some pics. Not the best pics but it's one of the mods I've done. Mighty bright for me. Wiring it up wasn't fun but was worth it. I have the Bakflip G2 tonneau cover installed as you can see in the pics

Cool! Why JBL if I may ask? So many better speaker lines out there...just curious.

Changed a flat do to a fucking rib bone from a mule deer that was scatted on a mountain pass. I never had much care for TPMS but I was able to watch the PSI drop and found a safe place to get off the road and fix it.IMG_20170304_043952591.jpg

Anyone else have this discoloration on their TRD center caps? I don't use any harsh chemicals to clean them, nor have I parked next to sprinklers think it happened when it rained and then the sun came out and the paint faded under the the water spots20170218_155220.jpg

There is a thread about this somewhere. Basically everyone started putting clearcoat spray over them.
