Spent a lot of years with galvanic corrosion and at one time could tell you the number and size of bolts on the header of a main condenser with Stainless, brass and steel involved. Bottom line is after enough time with it if you didn't put anti seize on the bolts on ever bolt I would drag your ass under the main condenser and kick the hell out of you. May not win but you would respect me in the morning. But I will defer to Mike on this one with plugs.

That's just cold man. I baked last week working on truck. Wanted a little sun on fresh haircut not cook.

 

I read something a few years back on all the condemned steel,(vehicles, planes) from Chernobyl.
Everything got scrapped on the black market and found it's way into China.

 

After working outside all those years, I don't do the haircut thing till Turkey season. I made the mistake of cutting my hair when it was still cold out. Never again.

All the pole line hardware I used was Chicom made.
I always made sure to keep my head out of the way when we tensioned up that stuff in case the superior chinese metallurgy failed.

 

Next week will be 6 yr anniversary of fukushima. Chernobyl has nothing on that shit. And GE and TEPCO are in bed together. And GE holds primary shares of telecommunications so that's why you don't hear about it. Had it just sat and burnt would be better. Being on an underground aquifer and having 3 mox fuel meltdowns releasing into air the perfect storm.

I was tensioning up a down guy once and the ears let go. There was an air void in the casting.
