I'm probably picking mine back up from my brother this weekend, but I recommend you put it up on Shapeways, add a little markup, and offer it for sale.

I'm still tinkering with this thing. Send file and I'll see if I can make it happen.

Ha, Im no business man! Plus, why sell what I can easily give away for free to like, all 20 MT owners :p

Anyways, I made a simpler part to test out on your printer-- Im more curious if it (a) lock in place to the boot collar and (b) if it slides over the shift lever. We can update/adjust if it works first!

Something like this exists for most of the other sporty imports out there but our MT trucks don't get love. I would definitely buy!

    Subbed!

Nice! I would love to see it installed. I wonder if it may be better the make the outer diameter of the top "ring" the same diameter as the chrome peice. It's hard to tell until what would be better until it's actually installed. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I'd say it is possible and easily doable but would look funny unless you happen to have a similar diameter aftermarket gear shift. Which is pretty common like a grenade or the rolling pin design and would probably look great. If you do the cueball style aftermarket knob (I'm using an fj trd ball) you probably want a slimmer neck for the adapter.

And thanks everyone else too for the positive feedback and those brave souls willing to try this on their printer. A friend of a friend might have one local to me too so if I get a chance I'll ask to see if I can give this a go as well, though probably at a more leisurely pace as I keep up with work.

Hot off the press but it's so small I can't get enough grip/leverage to check if the boot can lock into place.

Update it fits but the design is weird to account for the off centric pro knob. Seeing how it fits I think the design could be a lit simpler.
