I am on a quest for a used color matched shell for my Tacoma. Unless it was super dirt cheap im not really interested in having it painted sinve its so expensive.

I have found a few used trucks on Auto trader that have the correct color shell on them, and am awaiting return calls from the dealers.

I drive a 13' Silver DCLB , however my dad owns a 11' DCLB in Magnetic Grey. How much do you think I can get a price reduced if I show up in his truck, and use the "well I'm going to have to get this thing painted" line?

I dont see a dealer negotiating based on color, youve reached out to them so they know you're interested. Maybe if it was in bad shape they would.
