yea, I saw the 0w-30 and with it being colder here than in the south, i just wasnt sure if it was worth running slightly thinner oil in the winter, that's all. I may try it out and see if I notice a difference (in the winter time). we got random cold days but not long stretches in the 30's and even 20's

i threw mpg's out the window a long time ago with 5 35" tires haha

Dude, don't dig the hole you are in deeper. I have noticed the mods on here are pretty tolerant as long as you don't poke too hard at them.

I'm not defending the guy... But now there's mods chewing his ass in another thread, publicly. If he's out of line, you don't have to say it in front of his friends. If he stays out of line (which it looks like you think he has) you still have methods at your disposal that don't include taking a bite out of him in front of people that he actually knows.

I'll be in the area in April, wanna hash this out over beers at the Kent Station Ram? That place is kinda my jam.

It's kinda typical. Someone gets out of line, complains in a regional thread and people come to their defense when mods intervene. To be honest, yeah, we kinda do. If he think he's going to go into a safe place and find shelter and protection...it's not happening.

    I like beer!

I don't think it's the mods that were getting called cunts there. Every time I went to read what he was complaining about, it was already poofed. So I've got nothing other than his word that he was getting trolled. Which is why I don't think our nice quiet little regional thread is the place to rebuke him.

But seriously, look us up for a beer when you're in town. Kent Station is about a 20 minute drive for me, I'm up for meeting people. Even dirty Mods. :infantry::infantry::infantry:

There has been quite the exposure of DB's lately. Some NCO and also some CO. I've seen people be castrated for worse. I know mods cant catch everything that is posted f/s, but this seems like a petty problem that isn't strictly enforced or is often overlooked time to time because I happen to know a guy. Thats the problem with a dozen or more mods for 100k + members they don't all align with what is considered nuke/ban worthy. I've pretty much put the whole 3rd gen forum on ignore since everyone wants to argue about the stupidest S.

I'll just go ahead and nominate the "overland is expensive" thread for thread of the year......

Sounds like a date? Kent station is a bit sketchy, but as long as your truck looks more EAF than mine, I'll be OK I think.

Btw, what part of the east coast between Maine and Florida are you from?

I'm active Coast Guard stationed in VA right now. I spent 6 years up there in Seattle (2005-2011). One of the places I lived was down there in Kent and I used to take the Sounder into Seattle and walk to work.

I lived in Issaquah, Sammamish, Ballard then Kent.

I'll be staying in West Seattle (alki area) so pretty much anywhere is good. Come to think of it, Stan's BBQ in Issaquah wouldn't be a bad spot.

good. first off, i dont really care about this little personal vendetta to right this particular wrong. and yes, hes a WA guy and i def dont want anything "bad" (TW-wise) to happen BUT i do get sick of seein the current generation (not saying he is in the millennial generation, I know I am even though I strongly dont agree with ANYTHING these snowflakes cry about [but i cant help when I was born '88]). im just glad to see there are no safe spaces in TW (or cuntworld, whatever were calling it now haha). there are consequences to every action and if that means someone gets chased down after talking smack and explainin whats happenein...then so be it. at the end of the day, its the interweb, where nothing matters and it's full of half truths and whole lies.

    upload_2017-3-4_10-2-43.jpg

thanks for the help discussing the oil questions haha
