I got very lucky with mine....an in stock gun with beautiful stock and perfect cast. Now it's loaded with small battle scars...or as I like to say "character marks".

    Now we're talking.

Having my shoulder separated years ago and still tender I improvised. Ordered a cowboy style butt cover and cut a flip flop to fit the steel butt plate.

The 9mm is outstanding I love that gun I don't carry it but I'll tell you it's so accurate I can surcumsize a gnatt an 20 yards. my advice is buy it it's fantastic in any caliber

Thanks! It's actually a 649. My dad has the 640 Pro Series(no lock). Thought about seeing if he'd sell it to me, since he mainly carries and shoots his 60, but I wanted to be able to shoot single action as well as pocket carry. The 649 seemed like the best combination of the two to me.

Here's the three of them together, shortly after I bought it. Mine is in the middle.

Has anyone else done their own stippling? It was rather easy if anyone is interested. All you need is a heat gun and a fine tip for small electronics work. You can get fancy with the different tips, but I haven't done that far in the weeds yet.

Funny - I just did my first gun yesterday. Stippled the back & front of my shield.

I don't understand why people pay for the simple jobs like this. It's too easy to do at home. It's a hell of an upgrade for any firearm.

Yea, I had a 220 for years. The factory plastic leaves a lot to be desired. Just keep the heat relatively low on the soldering iron. Don't want to burn all the way through. It helps to trace your pattern with a pencil and do the outline first.
