I'm pretty sure thats a driver/public safety message and not a reference of the ability of the vehicles...

I dunno.... If they made one that showed someone starting the truck then shutting it off with that message, I'd take it as them saying dont even bother trying to start the truck.

I used to rip donuts way harder than that in my Grand Cherokee and that had a Dana 35 which is one of the crappiest axles known to mankind.

Donuts don't cause rear dif failure. Defect in the parts.

Dump 3000 lbs of rocks out of a bucket 6 ft off the truck bed and see if GM takes care of it under warranty.

Of that's right. They don't do that anymore because they don't warranty hard use.

Looks like a sport not offroad, so no locker. Still doesn't dictate if he had traction control completely off of not.

That is not the reason the diff went. I do that every time it snows in every car/truck I've ever owned.

Methinks it was just shit timing.

I wonder what would happen if someone tried doing a burn out

Used to have a jeep liberty diesel that was tuned and used to do burn outs and donuts with heavy E rated "brotrax" and never did I feel like it was going to grenade itself.

    could've hit something too.
Maybe a dip in the dirt and when it fell in broke something.

Honestly so many things can cause this. Even just suddenly grabbing traction could do it.
So many things can cause parts to fail like that.

Jeesh...you'd think they would have better background music!

This reminds me of the other day when I was eating at McDonalds. I parked way far away from the door bangers in an adjacent Bob Evans parking lot that had gone out of business. It was out there all by itself...no other cars around. Perfect spot in full view of where I was sitting and eating.

Then all of a sudden some douche nozzle comes outta nowhere in an F-150 doing donuts in the vacant parking lot. Even though this idiot had the whole lot to himself he had to do all his stupid shit near my truck. Unbelievable!

There is a Ford Dealership near this area and then I figured out he was on a "test drive."

I wish the third gen had the torque to do this. I'd go out and burn a few thousand miles off my tires then maybe the wife would approve my duratrac upgrade.

^3rd gen has the torque to do this. Just need to keep the revs above 4000 rpm. It's still a Toyota engine, meaning you can hammer it at redline all day. :notsure:

Delayed power response does not allow to chirp tires. Yes I've tried with trac off many times.
