Imminent cooling failure

that's what I am thinking... anything to do with tow pkg? don't have that

 

I was just gonna say that's the likely culprit. There are additional cooling components with the tow.

 

Regretted not having that till now...

 

Mine is clear by a 1/4 inch. Why not shorten the hose instead by 1/4 inch. Much easier IMO. Bet I could do it not even having to remove the hose.

Trimming the bracket is a great idea.

Ive left off larger brackets on other rides for being in the way of service work. I'd look really hard before bothering to cut, paint and reinstall this one.

How does one remove the cover on the tacomas?
I only ask because on my Jetta you had to pull up from the 3 spots where it clipped in...if you didn't, well it would break like mine did.
Before I just start pulling at it I'd rather know do I need to pull from a specific spot or just pull from wherever

I think certain regions use it a lot more.

Same with the saying A boot. For the most part is more of a French Canadian thing. In Ontario I've never heard anyone say it other than the one french canadian guy I worked with once.

Same with Eh. Don't hear it often here, other than something like 'better watch that hose eh, it could get damaged from the bracket so close to it'
