I swapped my ECU with a used one from eBay. My old one had the Bully Dog tune which I do not like and unfortunately despite what Bully Dog says, their tune is not removable. I flashed the new ECU with the TRD tune using Techstream and my new Mongoose cable. :D

I also installed the ECGS bushing to replace the needle bearing on the driver side front diff. Since I installed the Bilstein 5100 shocks in front, the growling noise from the loosey goosey needle bearing was pretty unbearable. ECGS did us a huge solid by making that bushing! Now my truck rolls smooth and quiet.

I was being cheap and didn't order the removal or installer tools from ECGS. I couldnt justify the expense for something I will likely only use once. I improvised and made my own removal tool. The big threaded bolt and the nuts are from an old Harbor Freight spring compressor. The big washer is from one of my stock shocks which I recently replaced with 5125s. The little oval washer is a piece of mounting hardware left over from an old trailer hitch. I ground it down to the shape needed to slip in behind the needle bearing. The socket is 2 1/8", 3/4" drive.

    IMG_3859.jpg
For the install tool I used a big 1/2" socket and an extension, but with the extension in the socket backwards.

    IMG_3861.jpg

I replaced the axle seal as well and used a similar setup to the above pic, but with a larger socket.

I also installed the OME carrier bearing spacer kit. I'm waiting for the JBA upper control arms and Bora spacers to arrive and the suspension will be done. The truck needs a wash but it isn't truck wash weather today.

It prevents a shit load of money in repairs when the cheap foam filter in there now falls apart, basically.

I only notice it when you go to close or open it. This thing is seriously stout!!! Beyond pleased with the skin and cap.

I'm sure when I put my sliders and bumper and bigger tires on I will notice that lol.

If you click on my build link I think it's in there. I have a 3' firestik mounted with a @Shmellmopwho antenna mount. I haven't ran the antenna wire yet. I'd have to open the garage door for that and it's too damn cold out.

Enjoyed some good camping weather. Decided not to bother with putting in the sleeping platform and I enjoyed the extra headroom.

Second picture was taken with Hero 4 on 30 sec exposure. Only light source is coming from the glow of the campfire

2012's didn't have the cover. I ordered one for a 2013 and popped it on. It does look cleaner with it.

Honestly, I LOVE IT! I would buy it again in a heart beat! The truck ran good stock with no lift, but adding the S/C with 2.85 pulley it'll spin the 285s pretty easily even when the truck shifts into 2nd. I couldn't imagine how fast it would be on stock tires with no lift!!
