List price on the mirror assembly is about $400 plus labor w/ blind spot $300 w/o Toyota in Orange seem to be crooks.....

Just ordered it at coolsprings TN for $265.

Orange is a rip off.

Asked the parts guy what deal can you give me. He said 10% max. I said you know I can get it from another dealer online cheaper, will you match. He said NO.

 

Right, that's about $800 bucks an hour

 

You're getting screwed... I broke the same plastic peice on mine one evening backing out of the garage. Bought a whole new mirror w/ BSM for like $240. Installed in 20 mins via YouTube video.

Best I could find is about $250. Keep in mind the mirror assembly comes without the color matched cover on top.
While I have it apart, I am modding the Turn signal LED

 

Installed camburg upper control arms. Icon stage 2, coilovers set at 2 " of thread showing on the passenger side, 2 1/8" on the drivers side, icon aal for the rears, total chaos diff drop kit and maxtrac carrier drop bearing kit.

 

250 is great but Toyota of Orange at 445.53. F that place. Twice now they have tried to price gauge me. First time was for the rear bumper cap and now this. I gave them this last try to redeem and they pulled this.

Imagine what buying a truck would be like from them.

I'll take my truck in to HB or Tustin for services now and I live two minutes away from this place.

Good news is you don't need the color matched outer cover for the mirror (above the plastic)... Yours looks just fine. Just pop the old one off and put it on the new one.

Did an oil change at 2100 miles just for peace of mind, and what a huge pain in the ass it was. 2nd gen oil changes couldn't have been any easier and it's like Toyota intentionally made every aspect of it a pain just so you will take it to them. I'll let them give me the 2 free ones, then I'll keep doing them.

 

Had mine done at 1500 then will have reg schedules done for 2yrs. Any tip on doing them for when I start? Thanks

Tustin is my place! Never had a problem with them. No questions asked when I requested the new Trans TSB. Parts department matches price if you show them where you can get it cheaper. Got my TRD exhaust from them and some other stuff. Toyota of Irvine wanted to charge me $169 for a $39.99 smog check.

 

Purchased my truck from Tustin. Easy and quick. I'll go there from now on.

 

So glad I havnt had to mess with smog cks since California...

 

Massachusetts is just as bad. There they do a safety inspection too. Brand new truck and the 18 year old gas jockey flunked me because my TRD license plate holder partially obsecured one of the letters in "Massachusetts" at the very top of the plate.
