I would say lower it a little bit. I have always liked the roll bars.

i think it'll look good cut down a bit. and if you do deciude to do the metal work, weld 2 more tabs on it so you can slap 4 lights up there instead of 2...i think that'd look sick

Edit: reason i say 4 lights is because the 2 i have on my roof give me a good amount of extra light...but i think they look funny sometimes.

I'm not a fan of roll bars in general.

Planning on putting at least two lights up there. Lowering it is the hard part. Because I have the short bed it doesnt sit on the bed floor. It sits on the wheel wells. I dont have the equipment to do the metal work myself so if there is anyone in the area that is willing to help me out I would be able to compensate them for their time.

I didnt actually bolt it on. I just set it in there to get an idea. It also has two support bars that come diagonal into the bed. I need to get some cleats for them to mount into the bed as well. Needs some work before I can put it on.

Sorry, but I'm not really a fan of the "roll bar". The only one I have liked is this one...from Back to the Future.

Here are the fasteners that I would bolt onto the wheel wells.

Lower six inches to flush with the top of the truck...other than that it looks good.

That would for sure hit with lights on in the one parking structure I go in. But then again I think my moms mustang will hit in those. I freakin hate those things.
