I'll be upgrading to those someday. Thats my favorite tire but I just cant justify spending $350+ a tire right now

Ok, but no guns. Or crossbows.

ECGS bushing swap. Don't even bother with another stock bearing.

A post I found early today showed that they had changed the design of the replacement bearing, if its free I might as well give it a chance before putting my time and money towards it.

Just drove by the area going from tricities to Everett, and there is a great view of the snow in the area. I wouldn't count on getting though much in that area.

If you get amsoil, know that it is supposed to be 15k miles between oil changes, and there is an amsoil filter you should use as well.

Does the name Cafe Zingaro mean anything to you?

I wonder if the toyota filter will work (i only use those or the occasional Wix) and I would imagine IF i let it go 15k, i would still change the filter out every 5k at least...right?

Where the Green mountain trail at? I'm having a hard time finding information on where the trail head is. Anyone got a good link?

Green mountain, of course. Go to Granite Falls up the mountain loop highway. You'll climb sand hill and pass a rock quarry on your left. Maybe a mile if that from where it levels off, there is a right hand turn where you can see they've been clear cutting everything. Hang a right and the concrete will turn to gravel. Pick a road and have fun

I was talking to an amsoil dealer, and the guy does all his own work on all his vehicles. He said that the amsoil filter is designed to be used for the 15k. You could use a Toyota or Wix filter and change every 5k, but you will need to add about a half quart of oil with every filter change to keep it full.

I know a guy with a black first gen, who also lives in Seattle, named James but last name spelled Ly instead of Lee, and he owns a coffee shop in downtown.

Like anything with oil, you'd really have to get the oil tested and cut the filter open to inspect it to know. Guys have tested their oil after 7500-10k miles and had it still be good with Mobil 1 synthetic (and other brands).

I still just do it every 5k. Which is about once a year for me anyways. Costs all of 20 bucks so not bad and have to check everything and grease it anyways.

Thanks for the info. Have you been up there recently? I wonder how deep the snow is. I would like try to make it up the top before turning around mid way lol
