OK, so tax time freed up a little spending. I've got about 500 to spend and am looking for the best way to do it. The two big items for the truck would be new tires or a lift.

Tires: I'm still running stock AT20 dunlops with 45000 miles on them. I was planning on putting new tires on before next winter assuming they last until then. When I do upgrade, I was hoping to go a size up to 265/70/r17 or 265/75/r16 if I can find used OR rims for cheap.

Lift: Would be Bilsteins all around, with a possible Eibach (1.6") springs in the front, and a ToyTec AAL for TSBs in the back (~1" because of cap).

Other: I'd like to tint my front windows. There's a scratch on my passenger side door that needs buffed out (not sure on the cost for a shop to do this). Possibly a grillcraft grille. OEM tube steps or running boards (for the wife and her short friends :))

Let me know your thoughts. Looking for opinions.

Tires. Replacing those dunlops will give your truck a WHOLE new look.

If I go tires, AT are the most aggresive they'll get. Unfortunately this truck is mostly a street truck. I'm kind of looking at Kumho KL61s. They have a 60000 mile tread warranty and are supposedly snowflake rated. Not extremely aggresive looking though. Options are still open on that though.

As for a tint. Does that run people around $100? Is is better to have this done in the winter or summer?

I'd say you could easily get the fronts done for under $100. I just got my truck tinted yesterday and all 4 doors and back window were going to run $160. I paid $230 for what I ended up getting tinted. :spy:

get tires and look out for some used billys for the front on here.

are you gonna tint all 4 or just the front?

I hope you didnt pay more for darker tint? Tint costs the same no matter the darkness....

What % tint is legal on the front and passenger side windows? In canada my buddy got pulled over twice and told to remove his tint but it was like a limo tint. I wanna do my front windows to match but i'm afraid it will be too dark

Zero tint is legal. Meaning, any amount of tint is illegal...
