I just ordered a new G-code incog for my p320c rx with a mag carrier, but now I'm looking at the trex arms sidecar since Gcode states the mag carrier won't work with a rmr.... but my coworkers works fine with his G19 rmr

    what are your guys thoughts?

We picked up one for a range day in the desert. Loaded orange soda cans and had everyone line up with shot guns. Tons of fun. Just make sure you're upwind.

I have seen where a lot of the blanks out there will just blow the can apart but you gotta pay to play.

Just got my Kel Tec sub 2000 gen 2. 9mm set up. Two 32 round Glock mags.

Just ordered and waiting for a government issue Beretta 92S. It's a classic looking piece that will come out of a display case two times a year.

I just started researching the vintage Colt 1911 I want. I want something with matching numbers but I dont mind moderate wear and tear to show its age/history.

My plan is to build a display for the 1911 and the 92S -as these were my two pistol options in 1990- 94 on USS America and at Fort McClellan.

FYI, if anyone sees a decent 1911, 1911a1 or 1991 -let me know,. PEACE.

    It's a 3.3
Why do you say to use the 124's vs the 115's?

The longer barrel handles the 124 gr a lot better along with some better accuracy 3.3 use 115 gr or lighter your wrist will thank you....My XDs 3.3 .45 I use +P 80 gr 1900 FPS ammo with amazing accuracy and faster follow up shots. I say try all kinds of ammo that you will use for self defense so you are familiar with recoil and such...147 gr is too much for these guns in my opinion from my observations and use.

I train with the ammo I carry for self defense so I know what to expect it is somewhat more expensive but my life depends on it.

I'll be running speer gold dot as the self defense loads (assuming they function well in this gun as they do in my others), I plan on running a couple hundred round through it before i carry it.

I have yet to find anything it doesn't eat with consistency and no issues. I have found the Hornaday,Magtech and Barnes tac XPD work extremely well....

find a handgun that fits your hand and points naturally for you. As your first handgun I'd say something 9mm, low recoil and about the cheapest to shoot. Get some good handgun training, learn the handgun and be confident with it.
You might here the whole 40 or 45 is better but in reality all standard calibers kill in the same way, blood loss or shutting down the CNS. Modern defense ammunition is all lethal. Low recoil of the 9 allows faster follow up shot creating more blood loss.
So get a good name brand 9mm and practice. Think about how your body will act under stress and incorporate that into your practice.
Under stress you will resort to your lowest level of training. Train the way your going to fight. Train to win
    Hope this helps a little
