Just went over 5000 miles yesterday on my 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road and so far so good! The only things I will address with my dealer when I take it in for it's 5K mile service are two minor issues that I have noticed.

#1. The power rear window tends to rattle a little when in the open position when traveling down the highway.

#2. There seems to be a weird rattle/noise coming from somewhere inside the headliner in two spots for me...the passenger side "A" piller, and the center control cluster at the headliner. These noises appear to be weather related as it is noticeable when it is cold outside and the noise seems to go away once the cabin has warmed up.

So far that seems to be the only "issues" I've noticed. The ones I've mentioned above are relatively minor but are both noticeable enough for me to want them addressed by the dealer.

Add a wind deflector to your back window. Seemed to cut down on some of the wind noise for me.

A pillar rattle is probably the speaker cover.

Wind noise is not the problem...the rear slider itself rattles when it is open.

Good looking truck.. What size tires and are you stock suspension or running a lift? Just curious...

I just topped 9k, and the only issue I've had was a squeaky leaf spring for a couple weeks after launching a boat a few times. Some good spraying with penetrating oil and it was gone.

I added the Icon Stage-3 complete kit and went with Toyo MT's 265/75/16's.

I had the clicking/popping sound near the passenger side A pillar. Gave the lower part of the pillar a stiff push towards the front of the truck and heard a click as if it weren't properly seated. Never heard the noise again. It's been about 4,000 miles since then.
