It was easy for me to tell a difference in miles per gallon because I Drive the truck solo most of the time but if you know what your're mpg is on a similar trip then yeah I would try a sand bag
Idk if it'd be worth it to go out and buy them though.

I use the bags of gravel at my place, so having them wasn't an added expense. I don't have as much use for sand.
The (6) 50 lb bags were easy enough to man-handle. 150 lbs, 3 bags, you say? May be worth a try.
They may lay well enough across, in front of the wheel well, or strapped across the front of the bed.
I was told not to put them behind the rear wheel, as it raises the front end up.

Yes indeed. I like the old school look and left them as raw aluminium because the silver color seems to go well with the silver streak mica color of my truck.
Still not sold on the derped grill surround but it matches my lower valence now at least! :p

So you popped a whelie so hard the front tires fell off and just luckily it landed on a set of jack stands but hit so hard now you have to replace the coils.

What I might do is get some costco sized bags/boxes of cat litter since I have three (furballs) and it's a foregone conclusion that I'll use the stuff eventually! :D:D:D
