Washed it and put some Hydro2 on. That stuff looks to work pretty well.

Also put in a pop & lock in the tailgate and mounted my brake controller.

Welcome to the Steve from Virginia TW club. We are an elite group. Little chilly in the OBX this weekend. First free mod. Gain clearance. Lose the air dam. Takes less than 5 minutes. 10 or 12 mm socket 3" extension and a ratchet. Put bolts back in so you don't lose them. You will like the appearance.

Where is everyone getting the tailgate Pop & Lock? And is it plug-in play?

This is all you need, maybe some extra zip ties. It's not plug in. You have to tap two wires. I did the passenger side door locks, that way it only unlocks with two presses of the unlock button. If you wanted to do just one, tie into the driver side front door locks.

If you route down the passenger side, it can get close to muffler parts, so keep it tucked away and it should be fine. I also went up through the grommet in the floor under the passenger seat. Cut a small hole and shoved it through, sealed up with RTV. I used extreme temp zip ties and did lots of them in case any break.

Anyway, there are several install videos out there it's pretty easy. Took about 30 minutes. Fighting with the mounting bolt for the actuator was the hardest part.

There are two plastic clips that the wires route though for your camera - on the one in the tailgate I had to use a drill and shave a little material off to get them to clamp closed, but it worked fine.

So what I did was, I turned my pro comp wheels into Trd wheels with a little trickery with the caps for about $10! A little bit of farting around with a pocket knife and hair dryer, 30 minutes later, Voila. TRD rims!
