I hear ya. It was a Thursday afternoon, there was 4 of us in a group; one of which was a 2nd gen 5 lug who was having trouble in the deeper snow.

I remember shit like that

I think I may run a few roads, but if it looks like that I'll probably try to grab a seat with someone else.
On another note dicks sporting goods is selling Coleman propane canisters for $3.79. Don't know if that's just the Madison location, if nothing else let me know and I can pick some more up for anyone who needs some.

Some do look like this, some have a place to go around the hole. Holes like this are rare on the "roads", don't remember what # this one was on. Someone else may remember, it's the one where we dead ended and had to turn around and pull people up the hill... I think.

You're gonna have more problems bottoming out in ruts then anything else. Not sure exactly how Chris hit that mud hole but he didn't make it very far so I'd assume he crept into it which didn't seem to help. Driver mod in a lot of these situations can triumph all else. Also remember that he was stuck for awhile. You'll be with multiple trucks who would be able to pull you out in a couple mins if need be

ya, didn't look like he hit it very hard, likely wasn't sure what he was getting into so didn't want to hit it too hard.

    Frogg Toggs. Worth every penny!

I've got a set in camo, for hunting obviously, and they're held up nicely for 2 years now. No rips, tears, or worn spots.

Overlanding....When the process of buying, packing, and talking about excessive amounts of gear is more critical than actually USING said gear.

Bummer dude, hope you get her all cleaned up. Did the water leak in? or was that from opening the doors to get in/out?
