    Very cool!
I remember working on those cars with my brother, from way back when. We had a great time building and testing in the basement.

I've heard of them. Never been there though. It's an odd lot type store selling excess inventory and close outs, etc...

Sounds like that new saw was worth every penny! Congrats to the little one on the victory

    Awesome!

A friend of mine actually just started a event we're doing in the spring at his barn for his yearly bonfire/cookout. the "pinewood durr" so it for adults. There will be a stock class built to spec (or bring one from when you were a kid/steal your kids.) there is talk about a rocket propelled class with off-road wheels to be used in the field, but no rules yet established.

That's cool. When I was in middle school we actually did co2 cars. You build up what is like a pinewood derby car but it has a co2 cartage on the back that propels it. I had won best in school with mine.

Mine looked just like this but a different color

Any of you guys use Ram Mounts? Looking at them for mounting my phone on the dirt bike since it's my GPS. Are they any good?

I had one on my old bike. Handled 155(indicated) just fine. As well as many a pot hole.

Good to know. Last thing I want is my iPhone skipping down the road, especially since it's my work phone...
    Me too!
Good to know. I'm not worried about it in the truck, the bike is a different story though. Especially since I'm going to stiffen up the suspension this summer when I fake supermoto it.

I use it in my truck to hold the phone. Sometimes in the summer things get really hot and the suction cup fails, but for the most part it doesn't go anywhere.

They sell a rubber net like thing to go over the X-mount to keep your phone more secure.

You can find all kinds of RAM mounts on Amazon and E-Bay.

I'm getting one that I can wire into my truck that has a USB output on it for my phone.

Check out the guys at Hondo Garage. The Perfect Squeeze works great in my Taco but I think the originally designed it for bikes. Check with @wileydavis and see if the Tacoma World discout code woks on the bike stuff too.

Love it! But I said fake sumo, I'm going to have the wheels and tires, have a decent suspension but it's still going to be a slow, old enduro dressing up like a sumo.
Yeah, I was looking at the x mount thing. Can you make the ram mount attach to a Garmin ball?
    Ooooh, you're awesome!
That looks brilliant. I need to sort out mounts, but I like your option. The bike will be easy, just need to find a mount for the truck and I'll come find you!
