I have not heard a single bad review regarding @HeadStrong Off-Road so I'm not going to hesitate one bit about...let's do this GB!

just got done with dinner after being on a train for almost 12 hours. I was trying to keep up with half of this on my drive home. I also, are partaking in a cold few.

 

This has nothing to do with me attempting to attack Headstrong, I am not here to hurt them or their business. Any one who has done business with me knows the amount of dedication I put in to helping the Toyota community. While its true that I requested 3 yrs ago when I first started developing the spec length piggybacks and bolt in bypasses, that they be sold through me, it was not to pick on other vendors. But I have countless hours spent doing the R&D for these shocks, and its not uncommon for fab shops to do this. King, Fox, ICON etc all do this for other people. I never knew it would become such an issue for other vendors to respect the work I put in to them, and turn me into a bad guy. But it takes alot of time an money to develop them. I just wanted to make sure I could continue to develop new and improved products. ADS has done the R&D for all the OEM length set ups, but I do work with them to help develop parts to work with their OEM set ups as well.

Many in this group buy have reached out to me looking for info and direction on shock specs and what set up to use. I can not spend my time answering questions and helping people out just to have them go somewhere else because the price is cheaper. I am not a web based company, I have a storefront open to the public 5+ days a week.

There was huge amount of miscommunication regarding this group buy and the way it would be executed, which is the basis for all that is happening.

To be clear, I am not against other ADS venders. I am not very active on TacomaWorld because I never had much success getting responses from anyone to become a vendor on here, so I focused on advertising on other forums where it was more organized and easier to handle being a vendor.

I am not here to steer people away from supporting Headstrong, was just simply trying to protect my own interests. Time is a valuable thing, we all work to support our families.

I do encourage people to move forward with their intended purchase on this group buy. If ADS has in fact opened up all of my part numbers to other vendors, I am unaware of this and have been told something different. I can only go off what has been told to me. I was informed by ADS that they were asked to pull down my part numbers on Wed March 1st, if this is not the case, than I reacted off of false information and I apologize to everyone involved.

Good luck to everyone and if anyone has further questions please contact me directly. I will not be involved with anything else regarding ADS on TacomaWorld to keep from stepping on Headstrongs toes.

This will be my last response regarding this drama.

There were not specific parameters in place for the GB when we posted. We posted what we thought was acceptable to sell since we had sold certain shocks you now claim are yours. Later we were told you basically threw a fit about listing these specific part #s you helped to develop. Once we were informed about this and spoke with ADS on those part #s we removed them as quickly as possible, this happened days before you decided to rant on here yesterday. Now you are trying to back peddle indicating this was a simple miscommunication/misunderstanding and that you don't plan to hurt the GB or our reputation, yet you talk to members behind our backs and fabricate whatever you need to in order to contaminate both. Bottom line is you are upset with us about the price we offer and the GB in general because you are worried how this effects your take home.

We never had an issue with you and never wanted to cause problems between us. We respect what you do and understand where you are coming from and all this was supposed to be handle in that conference call where you hung up on us and ADS. Had you remained on the phone to hear what ADS and I had to say regarding moving product and promoting the brand, there most likely wouldn't have been an issue. Instead you come on here and act like a victim and indicate we are doing something wrong and disrespecting you. All this is complete and utter BS.

Thanks for ruining our Sunday, wasting the mods time, and for potentially making ADS and I look bad. Your work here is now done.

Yes they can. It is currently the same part number though so you need to specify extended travel in the ordering process and which coil spring want. They come standard with a 650lb spring so if you want that size nothing else needs to be specified. However if you want a 600 or 700lb spring that would need to be noted.
