Yeah, I know, I know... I said above I am cured- that is a lie. I spent a good hour or so on my flashlight sites after reading this thread and now I have a few lights I want to buy. This one isn't too pricy and I don't have any USB chargeable lights: http://www.batteryjunction.com/olig...ator_homepage&utm_campaign=responsiveTemplate

I haven't bought a new light in almost a year. The withdrawal symptoms are deep.

ok, help point me in the right direction folks! :) I'm wanting something rechargeable, LED, super bright that can fit in the center console or glove box. Not really wanting a compact light, would rather have lumens vs compact size. Thanks!

In that case, I would direct you to the SkyRay King.

It's kind of a copy of that light, but a fraction of the cost.

I have two of them, and they are very nice.

Update: I am still impressed with this light. Been thru 2 power outages and it just keeps going. I've recharged it twice. So the battery should last 500 years. :)

Ok guys, trying to buy my first solid light (best I've had this far is just the led maglite). I want a small tactical light and I've narrowed it down to the Fenix PD35 Tac or the Klarus XT11GT. Anyone tried/compared both of these lights themselves that can provide a side by side comparison of your thoughts?

I've never heard of Klarus so I looked it up and read some reviews. You should too. I know, that's no help but it's all I've got.

Yeah online reviews are what got me interested in it to begin with but looking for someone with some real head to head comparison and not a website with links to purchase said flashlights, ha.
