Picked up a metallic grey (can't remember what the color name is) homertaco grille today from someone in RI. I'm on the fence about paint matching the grille surround or just painting it black like I have right now.....

 

Color match, color match, color match!

 

I would have to find someone to mix the paints hm.... Where did you get your paint made again? Did it come in aerosol cans?

 

While talking about bumpers, I finally bought one for the front. Ive been thinking about it for a while and finally thought why the hell not.

I also painted my LED bar brackets to match my paint and it looks 100x better than the black which puts me in the same boat about the black bumper i ordered.

 

Look up Dupi-Color perfect match paints. They also have a compatible clear coat for their products. Downside is that it's only a 1K (noncatalized) paint vs the professional 2K stuff that is used at body shops. In reality, that shouldn't make much of a difference, you just have to know that up front and not use any strong chemicals to clean spots etc on the surface (like lacquer thinner)...

Shitty end to the weekend, which lead up to a shitty start of the work week.

Being an OCD type when it comes to work, I take my laptop home every night. Trying to be proactive, I always do emails form home in order to stay on top of things. Checked email last night, as I always do... there was a shitty email waiting for me in my inbox, from a company we do business with nonetheless.

End my weekend super shitty that I lost motivation to watch The Walking Dead.

GF asked me yesterday if I thought I was ever going to want kids, so I'm on full red alert now.

He threw something at the TV and broke the flat screen. Fortunately, this was on President's Day weekend so I bought a new one with the sales going on (actually got a bigger, better TV than what I had for a lot less than what I paid for the old one), he threw the iPad over the banister because he was mad that the battery ran out and completely FUBAR'd it and Saturday he put something down the toilet that is stuck in there so badly that I had to replace the toilet. I couldn't snake it out from either side (I took the toilet off and tried snaking it out from the downhill end). I will take a sledge to the old toilet something this week to try and figure out what exactly he stuck in there, it's still a mystery.

 

Yep. I told her 'maybe' and changed the subject, but I can tell that it wasn't a satisfactory answer.

But that would imply that I wanted to cut back...
