im not crazy. Glad you got the same result as me. Really happy with the tac weld mod.

Red will not kill your eyes as much, longer wavelength. Also why most cars come with 3300-4300k headlights vs 5000-6000k. Less eye fatigue over time.

My LED pod switch is blue..i will be switching it out. too bright and doesn't dim low. Going to orange and red.

Well I gave my 99 a little junkyard restoration this weekend replacing the beat up step bumper with a great condition same unit piced from an 01 standard cab. Also helped out a buddy who just got a 98 Xtracab SR5 4WD by picking a headliner, drivers side seatbelt, airbag cutoff switch and instrument cluster from a 99 Xtracab Prerunner. Here's some pics of my 99 reg cab with straight bumpers.

Totally worth it. Stereo sounds way better, the ride is quiet and when you close the door it sounds like a tank.

if your light is on all the time..you have a wiring issue.

And not really. Even BMW still uses 4300k HIDs in their projectors.

only thing that worries me on doing this is that my luck something inside the door will break and I will get to pry it all off.

I hate dealing with interior trim pieces and plastic clips. I feel like it is so easy to break things and so difficult to get it all to go back together properly. That said, the door panels are pretty easy. Much simpler, in my opinion, than pulling apart the dash to change the head unit.
