Hmmm, let me think... Do you have a garbage disposal? I'm sure I can get him to put one of mommy' soon special chachkis in it. :D

Nope, no garbage disposal. I have a feeling the dishwasher is going to be the next casualty. It's in rough shape because he tried standing on the door when it was open. And believe me, I'm sure he can give YOU some more destructive ideas than you can teach him at this point. He's a talented little boy!

Lol I like the answers to "why did you do that?" . Harper's usually is " because I wasn't listening" no matter what she was doing wrong

Contemplating grabbing an RCI IFS skid from the GB and fabbing up my own trans and tcase skids. The trans and t case skids are literally just flat sheet with reinforced sides and a tubular cross member for the tcase skids.

Anyone know any decent places to buy some sheet, angle, and probably square tube in eastern MA?

A buddy of mine's 4 year old shoved his 2 year old brother off of the couch when we were visiting them a couple of weeks ago. They asked him why he did it and he said "Because you say no hit him!"

Well by that logic he's not wrongo_O

Kids are awesome like that sometimes. Can't really fault them even though they should know it's wrong, technically they are doing what you told them

Try metal fab shops. Some might have enough random bits and pieces they'd be willing to off load for nothing or next to nothing. Or, if you know exactly what you want, they might be willing to order it up with their next order for you. The easier you make it for them, the more willing they will be to help since shops are generally busy this time of year.

Good call. I just didn't know if anyone knew of a decent place where you could get something like 4'x4' piece of 3/16" sheet, some angle to reinforce the skids, and a few feel of .25" square tube or similar. When googling it looks most places cater to commercial size orders

Exactly, most places to cater to larger orders. A metal fab shop can just add your stuff onto their order, or may even have stock that they'd sell you. Some of those guys stock literally tons of various sizes and shapes. If you're flexible on what you can use, that's probably even better but I'd call them with a specific list and let them tell you 'can you use xxx instead because I have that in stock'. Like maybe they have L2x2x3/8 rather than L2x2x1/4 pieces.

Bless that child! I was one of "those" kids. The only car I totaled was a mid-60's Pontiac Tempest. I was 3 and can describe the 'incident' like it just happened today.

I have a buddy who owns a machine shop in Somerville - he might be willing to sell you some stock or special order it.
