I'm not knowledgeable about wheel spacers, never ran them before. But I have had aluminum wheels that the truck was in storage for a couple months with and when I started riding it again, my wheel feel off 3 times. My conclusion was the aluminum wheels warped a little bit, vibrated enough to get some of the lug nuts loose and tired sheered the rest when it feel off.

I don't want "stance", I simply want to offset a little to clear the lugs on the LTB's. I agree 100% with you though, I do not like wheel spacers at all. But I'm still saving to get the wheels I want with the right offset to eliminate the need for spacers.

The wheel spacer studs sheared. The factory studs are ok as far as I can tell. I'll know more once its on the lift.

How much damage was done to the truck other than the wheel and/or the studs?

Fender was bent in. Rotor developed a flat edge. Lower Ball Joint nut and stud was damaged. But pretty much everything else I can think of was fine.

Sounds like crappy used off brand spacers. I recently installed spidertrax and so far I'm happy with them, but a buddy of mine in the AZ thread has spidertrax and he just lost a wheel today. Not sure if they were used or how strict he's been with the up keep.

That makes me feel a little more optimistic. Hopefully mine will be around the same, damage wise.

Yes, these must be junky spacers. Lesson learned for sure, glad it wasn't worse then it was though.

Thanks man, I'll definitely be checking this out.
