That write up does explain the vibration, I've been looking into that bushing and it sounds like it might be the thing to try first.

They ended up not putting on the 885s after their discussion with Bilstein. The shop guy was just laughing while he told me all this. Definitely some butt hurt and frustration going on there!

 

Thanks! Some weird things happened along the way. My shorty antenna got snapped off in the parking lot of the shop and somewhere I lost a center cap. Oh, and a TRD valve stem cap.

So I have three TRD valve stem caps if anyone wants them, I'll throw 'em in the mail for ya.

Put magnaflow direct Bolt on cat back exhaust on my truck. Sounds pretty bad ass! Super stoked on it. Would totally recommend it.

 

How has this setup worked for you in terms of swr, grounding, and reception? I'm about to pull the trigger on the exact same setup minus the spring

 

I could not get the Firestick tuned. I switched to a Wilson 4' I had laying around and it works great, haven't had any issues.

50k milestone! Got some big things planned. Putting a new pioneer double din in and regaining my rear view cam, and steering wheel controls. Have 887s and 5100s sitting in garage, some 1 inch blocks from @ChadsPride and plan to buy a second 2k amp for my other 15. Then to wrap it up i want new rims. Oh and also bought some relentless roof bar mounts so plan to get a new light bar for the roof which brings me to the matte black hood i also have planned.

Bilstein tech and shop guy talked. I went in last week to give them some $ and get it started, shop guy told me what they discussed and I agreed to stick with stock coils. That money can go towards a dash cam.

 

the wires will slip rt through on the bottom in the back. If you have any problems you can cut a piece of clothes hanger, slip it through, tape the wires to it, and pull through

 

I'm surprised the bilstein tech would suggest using the product in an application where it isn't maximizing the shocks full performance potential.

It may have to do with me spending most of my time on the highway. I hit some state trails/minimum maintenance roads but nothing like your rig is set up for.
